The Jon Wayne Player of the Year is Ashton Dubose!
After receiving nearly four hundred nominations for Jon Wayne Player of the Year, a clear winner was easy to discern in the form of Ashton Dubose, the quarterback for Brennan High School!
Ashton had a phenomenal season, achieving 3,625 passing yards, 53 passing touchdowns, 945 rushing yards, and 25 rushing touchdowns. He was instrumental in leading his team, the Brennan Bears, to many of the victories in their 13-1 season.
In addition to his prowess on the field, Ashton is by all accounts a dedicated student, a hardworking athlete, and a great teammate.
We are proud to call him the Jon Wayne Player of the Year!
